a) Infectious Mastitis:It is the inflammation of the breast caused by an infection, usually bacterial. These mastitis usually occur during postpartum and breastfeeding, so they are also usually known as puerperal mastitis.



b) Paratuberculosis (PTBC) or Johne's disease: is a bacterial infection of the intestinal tract, chronic and contagious, which mainly affects sheep and cattle (usually dairy cattle),goats and other species of ruminants causing a uncontrolled diarrhea which leads to progressive cachexia and submandibular edema.
Thecausative agent is the bacteria Mycobacterium avium subsp.paratuberculosis (Map).

c)Bovine leukemia: Enzootic bovine leukosis is a viral disease of adult cattle characterized by neoplasia of lymphocytes and lymph nodes. The prevalence of infection in a herd may be high, but only a few animals develop fatal lymphosarcoma. Infection is spread by contact with contaminated blood from an infected animal. Sporadic bovine leukosis consists of juvenile, thymic, and cutaneous lymphosarcomas.
